the P5, G5 designation needs to be dropped. The 6 best conferences get an auto in the playoffs. Now, imagine that PAC as we know it today ends up with some former "G5's". Those G5's will end up in an expanded playoff, and the consensus is that they don't belong, and will get blown out. Maybe, but it will be settled on the field, not in the media, bank account, or the polls. Be very careful when you look down on other schools or athletic programs. I learned that lesson the hard way when I assumed my school would be invited to the P2. Today, I hope they are never invited to the P2.
