It is difficult to discuss financial comparisons between conferences
because everyone uses different revenue streams.
Here is a statement from Pete Thamel:
“The total worth of the Big 12’s media deal is anticipated to extend from $220 million yearly to $380 million. That’s a median improve in media-only income per college from $22 million to $31.7 million (the $380 million is now divided 12 methods with the addition of BYU, UCF, Cincinnati and Houston).
The new deal will mark an uptick within the Big 12’s total distribution quantity, which at the moment stands at $42.6 million per college. That quantity is topic to myriad variables equivalent to NCAA event items, bowl income and new College Football Playoff income.
It’s secure to venture the general per-school income rising to just about $50 million beginning in 2025-26. That quantity may properly be a lot larger relying on cash the 12-team College Football Playoff delivers.” - Pete Thamel / ESPN
