the ACC is the clear leader in basketball at tournament time. If basketball breaks off like football, the ACC will likely start making football kind of money in basketball. They also need the Football Four Miami, FSU, Clemson and Virginia Tech, to start being in the top 10 again. We all know that the playoff will expand, it’s a matter of how many teams will play in it. I still don’t get 12 teams versus 8 or 16. The only thing I can think of is because Notre Dame doesn’t have to play in a Conference Championship. I really don’t care anymore if Notre Dame joins the B1G or the ACC. I am indifferent or may prefer them more in the B1G so they don’t get special privileges. In the ACC we kowtow to them and it makes us weaker. WADR to my Childhood favorite team Notre Dame, as my mother would say, it’s time to grow up, and that means the ACC and Notre Dame IMHO.
