You can try tio apologize for the Irish…

but it falls on deaf ears for me. They’ve conditioned most of us schmucks that they’re special for so long that most people accept the unfairness. My take is if you’re so special that you must remain independent in football, just bite the bullet and go independent with all your other sports. It’s the pure definition of hypocrisy. Otherwise, play nice with you ACC conference mates because they gave you a home.
