The SEC contract runs through '33-'34. The exit fee currently is

$165M if they want to play in the SEC in '26. Spread out over 8 years, it's $20,625,000 a year. Ya, I think that VT would pay that if they got a pro rata invite to the SEC, don't you? UNC can most certainly come up with that kind of money, and remain competitive. Hell, Memphis just offered the B12 a deal worth $200M ** Edited by Big12 guy at 7/27/2025, 7:46:09 AM
