schools will play in the playoffs, so starting the regular season early, and adding games would be a win win. I also understand your position of a more quality OOC schedule, more "rivalry" games, and games that the national audience would be interested in - but I contend that is exactly what the P2 did, and what got us into this mess to begin with. It's real easy for me to say that the power schools should schedule in State G5's and FCS schools, as Kansas really doesn't have any in football. For me at least, VT scheduling an away game with ODU gives them instant cred in my book. Can you imagine Alabama playing in Troy's stadium, or UAB as an example? Or how about tOSU playing a game at Toledo? There needs to be a balance moving forward. K-State will never be blue blood, even if they won the National championship in a unique year. No offense, but VT is in the same camp. Find your lane (pun intended), and kick ass. The rest will fall into place.
