Take over is not.....

the proper word. His goal is and always has been for the SEC to be #1 and like I said he will work on relegating the B1G to Avis "we try harder" but are #2 status. I think the miscalculation is that lessening the broad base appeal of college football and making it truly a minor pro league will significantly, negatively impact the sport in the long run.
