There is no "cut". The plan includes 136 FBS schools.
I can't believe that (ahem) mature men long steeped in this subject matter can offer this as a serious proposal. Can there be not a single one among them who sees that The Emperor has no clothes.
For those who embrace the return of "regionalism," please consider that it benefits only minor, low earning conferences. The media companies who pay the big players want as broad a footprint as possible. Advertisers want it. The B1G understand this; my SEC, sadly, does not. Yormark sees it, the G5's get it. Wake up Sankey.
I have arranged these to more closely align with West to East formation if overlayed on a map.
