I don’t think FSU or CU have ever given any date on their possible exit.

Clemson has said nothing and FSU’s President Richard McCullough said that "FSU will have to at some point very seriously consider leaving the ACC." Add to that FSU Trustee Drew Weatherford statement: “It's not a matter of if we leave (the ACC), but how & when we leave". I think ever since these comments were made and even before that fans everywhere have been speculating on the dates that these schools and others might leave the conference. In this particular case, saying that something hasn’t happened by a certain date in no way diminishes the fact that it could happen if that is your point. And of course there is always the possibility the it could never happen. It will happen when it happens and not a second beforehand.
