And it is a bit of the psychic numbing effect. People can emotionally relate to a small incident affecting 20 people, but can more easily move past a large incident that affects thousands or millions. I get the same sense with this. We can relate to stories impacting VT or the whole ACC. But something that impacts the entire NCAA with potentially massive ramifications…that’s hard to grasp onto. Just speaking for myself, all I can do is watch the train wreck in slow motion and wait to see what happens.
