A wilted B12 is better than no B12. They will be a P1 in basketball if

you guys don't figure things out. Everyone decent in your conference has one foot out the door. That is an untenable situation if you are Cuse, BC, Wake, Duke, Louisville, GT, or even ND. That is assuming all of the mag 7 have invites, and I'm not convinced they all do at this time. What happens to the schools that are left behind? They are a voting block too, and this idea that they will just fold into the B12 after you guys (7) secure your future is dangerous for the ACC. None of the New B12 teams fit your criteria for expansion, but all of them were there for the taking. The climate has changed, as there is a clear P2, and the B12, and ACC ain't it. Expand now to be a clear #3 or #4, or we just might end up with 3 power conferences. The P2, and the best of the rest.

It doesn’t make sense for the ACC and especially not for Stanford and Cal.
RoswellGAHokie 08/08/23 07:59 AM ET
I'm always one to try and figure out how things could work.
