To say austin “had its issues” is not realistic…the data, stats & facts speak for themselves. Glad you felt safe & most do, but violent crimes are WAY up there… but so are all cities that decided to defund cops… Perhaps if you had 2 daughters there you would have paid closer attention to the stats impacting them. … had my kids also living in places trending in wrong direction…yet our perception was ok for all of us…
