people. At least I could see people ask "Why even join the Big XII if you weren't planning on staying a member very long?" Plus, if the Big XII and Pac-12 both lose their power conference status for the next College Football Playoff contract, then people could end up asking "Why leave the Pac-12 for the Big XII? Why not remain in the Pac-12 until the Big Ten is done making all of its moves?" I could understand making the move if the Big XII had its own conference network because it would be better than the P12N. However, it doesn't have a conference network so I'm not sure the Big XII will see that much of an increase in pay for its next contract especially if it is no longer a power conference.
