This is terrible

As soon as the SEC went all in on ABC/ESPN, the ACC slots were going to

FTR, I think the CW coverage has been good. Way better than ACCN.**

Data shows the following
HokieAl 05/13/26 11:22 PM ET
Thanks. Do you have an average for recent years only? CW contract started
RandomAsianGuy 05/14/26 12:35 PM ET
Sure. I can show by each year, by week, by school, by type of game
HokieAl 05/14/26 01:35 PM ET
What about the three most recent years 2023-2025?**
RandomAsianGuy 05/14/26 06:01 PM ET
2023-2025 data with a few different views
HokieAl 05/14/26 10:05 PM ET
Thanks. Very interesting. ESPN2 has generally better numbers but for some
RandomAsianGuy 05/15/26 12:24 AM ET
Those CW numbers are a lot better than what they would be on ESPN+
mrcaniac 05/14/26 12:20 AM ET
This is the correct take. Better to be on the CW than the ACCN.
Baltimore_Hokie 05/15/26 12:19 PM ET
I concur. ESPN+ is

And here is that same data, but also including the main channels

and ACC specific view
HokieAl 05/13/26 11:33 PM ET
some of that data confuses me a bit. NBC-SN doesn't even exist anymore
GusDaMan 05/14/26 11:29 AM ET
They're Notre Dame games, so definite outliers**
BROman Hokie 05/15/26 12:02 PM ET
This is 11 years worth of data
HokieAl 05/14/26 11:44 AM ET
The CW games would be streaming only if left on Disney
mrcaniac 05/13/26 05:43 PM ET
It's only 1 FB game/week, and one BB game per week.
EDGEMAN 05/13/26 06:17 PM ET
Sounds like a good deal. All ACC games will be on ESPN unlimited. **
RandomAsianGuy 05/13/26 12:47 PM ET
Does this result in any additional revenue for the ACC?
SMU Pony 05/13/26 10:28 PM ET
Isn't ESPN our "private equity corporation" in this case?
Truthahn 05/14/26 01:14 PM ET
Yes, in a way I believe you are correct. However, I believe there may be 1
