With the consolidations of the conferences, it's the

only way the to get matchups with the "blue bloods", and make them win it on the field. The top teams of the BIG and SEC will always get in, and last year, a 3 loss SEC school got in. With the top 8 getting a bye, and a home game to boot, I'm all in. The B12 championship game cost the conference a bid, and the ACC championship game didn't matter. Replace those games with the first round of a 24 team playoff, and those home games on campus will be a lot more fun to watch.

I'd favor going to 24 if they included every conference champion.**

No reason to expand beyond 16 teams if every conference doesn't get a seat

24 is way too many.**

16 is before 24, why not just start there. Auto bids before season starts

I think the P2 have to present the "illusion of inclusion"...
MP4VT2004 02/14/26 09:39 AM ET
I think Sankey/ESPN wants the P1 and Petitti/Fox doesn’t. Fox does wants to

I do think the B1G doesn’t want the P1, with this proposal, Sankey wants it

IMO this will trigger more conference expansion **

Why do you believe that?**
