The difference with the PAC, is they sold the games piecemeal, as ESPN and FOX, the two premiere college athletic media companies, did not offer them the money they wanted. That, and ESPN has enough content for their properties. The USA sports is intriguing, not because they will be broadcasting PAC games, but because they are putting their toe into the college athletic rights pool. That network is in just about every market, and if they are successful, they could be a player in 2030 when most of the other media deals will be reworked.
