Playing 9 conference games vs. 8 would hurt ANYBODY, not just the SEC.

If you play an additional conference game, someone has to get an additional conference loss. It's simple math. The difference with the SEC is that none of those teams think they should ever lose, and when they do lose, they think it shouldn't count.
