I think more accurately.....
media companies ESPN and FOX have colluded with the SEC and B1G to ruin college sports and the NCAA(the rest of its members and the headquarters executive staff) have been compliant and willing dupes. To be clear, ruining college sports was not the goal, it was plain and simple greed and the quest for more money and power with little, or likely NO, consideration of what it would do to the games and every other school.
