A Pac-10 without USC football and UCLA basketball just isn't the same.

That's like comparing the Big East Basketball brand to the current BE. Still a decent basketball conference. But nothing like the Big East Basketball of the 1980s and 1990s. I empathize with your position because I loved the Pac-10. But I'm afraid it's gone forever unless USC has regrets and somehow comes back.
