Isn’t FSU arguing that Jim Phillips didn’t have the authority

to sign off on a contract amendment regarding the extension option on his own. He had only been the commissioner for about 6 months at that time. That extension greatly affects FSU, Clemson, and all of the ACC members including Calford & SMU. I have no idea what the legal ramifications are for Phillips’ actions, but they could be catastrophic for the conference and him personally if what is being alluded too is true. As more and more details about the media rights agreement are released to the public, the uglier this whole situation becomes. ** Edited by WBGV at 8/2/2024, 12:55:49 PM
