ND went 10-3 this year. The only year it didn't have double digit wins during that time period was last year (9-4). 10-3--2017 12-1--2018 11-2--2019 10-2--2020 11-2--2021 9-4--2022 10-3--2023 ND is 73-17 since 2016, with two playoff bids. That is a very good and consistent run, with two head coaches. Those win totals rank up there with or even exceed any such 7 year run in ND history. How would Miami, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Penn State or anyone else feel about such a recent record? Only about 4-6 programs in America have more wins than ND the past 3, 7 or 10 years (however you want to slice it). That is the recent past, not 30 years ago. TV ratings for ND are very good as well. It just signed a stand alone deal for $50 million a year for 6-7 home games because of its fanbase/ratings. That is why Fox, NBC and the Big Ten want ND so badly. The ACC, SEC and Big 12 want them as well.
