No, the exact opposite

ND knows that FSU, Clemson and maybe NC are gone as soon as they can go. ND wants to stay independent and keeping a nice home for its other sports with a 5 game scheduling deal helps attain that goal. So, ND wants the ACC to survive in some form so that football can stay independent. Full stop.
