One big difference between the Pitt/Syracuse add and the Cal/Stanford add is that I think that when the prior were added, most still had hopes that the ACC would be able to stay on the same plain as the B1G, SEC and even Pac-12 at the time. Well, all pretense of that is now gone. Now it's just a matter of trying to pick up a few (million) bucks here or there until this marathon TV contract runs out. And like 4x4hokies said below, I will enjoy the variety. But in terms of value to the conference, you are correct. It's probably about the same as Pitt and Syracuse.
