Basketball tournament makes just shy of a Billion now, playoff makes about
500 million (expected to go to 1 Billion with expansion), but with the basketball money the NCAA keeps 40% and spreads the other 60% amongst the approximately 1000 members. The NCAA gets nothing from the football playoff, so if they didn’t take that money for basketball, we are talking about close to a Billion.
Hey, it’s all based on the basketball breaking off, but impression from Skipper is, it’s entirely possible.
