Some "other" ACC team can have it? Interesting choice of words.

How is it a FU to the ACC? A game will be played, an ACC team will take it for some $$ payout. This just screams elitist attitude - and the perfect example of what causes ND hate. FTR - I get some of the angst from the process with Alabama - it happens. FSU went undefeated and got left out. Surprise! Being "ND" doesn't automatically exclude you from the occasional raw deal, but most don't cry, take their ball and go home to mommy who tells them they are special... And why the irrational ACC hate? ACC did exactly what ND always does - looked out for themselves, promoted a football member over a non-member - why would they do anything different? We don't owe ND anything other than a home for their non-revs and a handful of football games every year... ND lost to Miami - same record - same metrics. Period. End of Story. There is no logic whatsoever they should have gotten in over Miami.

ND turns down bowl invite, no game will be played
goldendomer 12/07/25 04:21 PM ET
That is short sighted, especially for the seniors. ND
Big12 guy 12/08/25 11:30 AM ET
The players themselves voted not to play the bowl game
TerryD 12/08/25 11:46 AM ET
They are brainwashed.**
Atlee Hokie 12/08/25 12:38 PM ET
I understand, and when they did that before, the players
Big12 guy 12/08/25 11:56 AM ET
So the players essentially opted out.
RJHokie 12/08/25 11:50 AM ET
So ND acting as a petulant child is a middle finger to the ACC?
EDGEMAN 12/08/25 06:21 AM ET
How does ND’s pettiness hurt the ACC?

doesn't hurt the ACC; it hurts the charities**
daveinop 12/07/25 06:44 PM ET
It's hurting a team like Georgia Southern

P4 teams should skip the non-CFP bowl games. It makes business sense
HokieAl 12/07/25 07:17 PM ET
That's sad because only 12 teams make playoffs.
HOO86 12/07/25 07:23 PM ET
Exactly. Screw ESPN
TerryD 12/08/25 07:36 AM ET
The players didn't want to play it.
HOO86 12/09/25 12:21 AM ET
You people are insufferable. The one time you don't get your way, ...
Atlee Hokie 12/08/25 12:36 PM ET
Every team should be able to play in week 0, expand the playoff to 16 and

Yep it’s sad what the sport has become. And there is no end in sight **
HokieAl 12/07/25 07:25 PM ET
More like the middle finger to the committee.
RandomAsianGuy 12/07/25 06:30 PM ET
I thought Miami beat Notre Dame, Pro Serv, it’s like it never happened🤣

Oh, he’s on a roll because someone didn’t blow kisses their way**

Georgia Tech accepted it.

Turning down bowls won't be unique moving forward. ISU and K-state also
Maroon Baboon 12/07/25 05:16 PM ET
Now they can enjoy the holidays with family like Tech will.
