ND doesn't need the USC series; they're doing them a big favor by even-

acting like they care about continuing the series. ND is a nation wide, coast to coast, Canadian to Mexican border brand. USC is not. You may think differently, but you'd think wrong. Nobody in the Southeastern US cares about USC, and nobody in the Central or Midwest used to unless they made the Rose Bowl. In the East and NE, USC doesn't even mean Southern Cal, it means South Carolina. You can't say the same thing about ND. USC is high on its own farts, and they always have been, which is a big reason why we no longer have the PAC-12.
