Their intentions were 1.) Invitation to Big XII or ACC. 2,) Build a new

PAC 12 using the best from The MWV and best from The AAC. This would be the premier G5 conference, by far. 3.) Build a new PAC 12 using as many MWC schools as necessary. This would be very expensive (but less so than including AAC schools). This makes the former MWC schools a majority bloc in The New PAC. Having Three or Four AAC schools would/could prevent that. My sympathy for The PAC 2 is all but disappeared. The MWC gave them a lifeboat for this current season. The alternative for The Two was a playdate with the neighborhood FCS kids. The MWC asked for no merger guarantees, only protection from poaching. The PAC has no time to waste on the lawsuit. For the 2025 season they have: no conference, no media deal, no schedule.
