So Wake ditched Ole Miss for Oregon State? Interesting play

I don't understand this, unless OSU is paying Wake money to make it worthwhile. But Wake just had to pay $1m to cancel on Ole Miss. This just doesn't make sense. Feels like there is something going on under the surface right now.
