Date set for ACC vs. FSU lawsuit for case management in North Carolina
by Ehsan Kassim
A date has been set for a North Carolina court to hear Florida State's motion to dismiss or stay the Atlantic Coast Conference's lawsuit against the FSU Board of Trustees on March 22. Greg Flugar of College Football's Peek Around the Corner reported on the notice Friday morning. In the document, it states that a Mecklenburg County business court will hear the case between FSU and the conference. FSU - which is the defendant in the case - has asked the court to review the case to stay or dismiss it. If the case isn't dismissed in North Carolina, FSU will ask that it be stayed so its lawsuit in Florida can proceed.

If the ACC loses FSU, they are in real trouble. FSU will not go alone. **

I don't think that the ACC wants to give FSU a cause to claim mistreatment.
