They had their chance to do that for almost nothing and didn’t do it.
Four schools in a region, gives them all they want. Call it a Pod (hate that name) or call it 3 annual rivals and it can work. The schools can play once a year in football and twice a year for other sports.
I personally think the B1G goes after FSU, Clemson, Miami and maybe Georgia Tech. Not sure on the last one because I could see Georgia Tech staying in the ACC and investing more in basketball and they may save that slot for ND.
