The trials start on Friday in Oregon and continue for about 10 days. Here are the Hokies (including alumni) that are on the list of qualifiers who are expected to compete: Women: Lindsey Butler in the 1500m Queen Harrison Claye in the 100m Hurdles Rachel Baxter in Pole Vault Essence Henderson in Discus Men: Judson Lincoln IV in the 400m Nick Plant and Christian Jackson in the 800m Vince Ciattei in the 1500m Aidan Clark in High Jump Chauncey Chambers in Triple Jump Connor McClure in Pole Vault In addition, Bridget Guy, a former assistant pole vault coach at VT, is competing in the Women's Pole Vault. Two other former Hokies who portaled out, Laurie Barton (Women's 800m) and Jacory Patterson (Men's 400m), will also be competing.
