Ring a ding ding. Like George M, you are a Yankee Doodle
Born to a vaudevillian family in 1878, Cohan went on to write, compose and produce musicals with songs like “Yankee Doodle Boy” “Over There”, “Send My Regards To Broadway”, and “it’s a Grand Old Flag”. Broadway dancer turned the OG movie gangster, James Cagney went back to his roots to play Cohan in biopic “Yankee Doodle Dandy” which is appropriate for today. Anyone visiting Time Square sees his statue.
