NSIR: RIP Walter Parazaider, Chicago (saxophone, flute) founder, 1945-2026
Chicago played a gig in Cassell (may have just been The Coliseum) my FR year. I sat stage left, excitedly watching as they nailed down Danny Seraphine's drum set. I'm still memorized by Terry Kath's solo run on 25 or 6 to 4, a song I blasted up and down the roads on my add-on cassette deck in my 64 Chevy Biscayne.

I was 15, and my "dates" mother had to drive us to the show and pick us up. :-)

Features Kath on vocal and ends with the flute solo by Parazaider.
I played the Chicago [II] CD so many times in the 70s, I can still hear in my mind the intro to the next song, To Be Free.
Triivia: Songs 2-8 on that side are part of the Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon [suite], and includes my favorite, Make Me Smile.
