But seriously, if you have not seen this, it's worth watching. My family visited Sagrada Familia in Barcelona 60 years ago this month. So much of it was still under construction, it was barely accessible.

oddly enough because I had always wanted to see it and my theory being I had seen so many pictures of it that nothing was new and different. Still I would give it another shot, I think. Maybe I was just having a bad day.
But, I love Gaudi, went to his home down by somewhere and loved all the colorful chimneys on top and a lot of maybe more sedate but Gaudiesque features. Go figure. If I ever get back, I will certainly visit Park Guell and stuff and there are other Gaudi buildings around town.

of Europes castles and cathedrals. The time and energy that went into these absolutely incredible structures is jaw dropping. It's amazing what some humans can do - and let's not forget the music.

this planet. Gaudi’s background check may be inconclusive. The other Barcelona Gaudi projects we visited are other-worldly. Astonishing brain, that one!

We also visited Casa Vincens and Casa Batllo.
They were each very unique designs. I am sure we just saw the tip of the iceberg of his genius.
