They say there are 2 types of houses here. Ones that have termites and ones
that WILL have termites. So, my daughter is telling me there are termites flying around, and I'm making calls. Tenting
costs $1500 for my tiny little house, and the guy I called says he is doing 40 a day right now (it's supposedly termite season, whatever that is). So 60k a day MINIMUM in revenue. If he picks it up a bit, I'm thinking this guy could eventually be lounge material.

they have access to your home. If you have moisture issues, you’ll have them. But a properly constructed home/crawlspace will have no issues.
Read once, New Orleans and Hampton Roads are the top spots for termites in US.
The humidity and moisture.

here don't even need moisture. And when the frass is inside your house, and they are flying around inside your house, you can pretty much guarantee they are eating your house, haha. Also, I would bet Florida leads the world in termite damage in the billions per year. We have most favored state status for all bugs, really.

kill what is in the house during the treatment process but if they swarm again 2 days later your out of luck. The Bora-Care treatment of attic and crawl space may run double or triple but is a more permanent solution.

termites here, but of course, we are blessed with several varieties, and tenting doesn't work on one of them, according to the guy on the phone. You may be on to something.
