In what chain of islands would we find the only species of penguins that live north of the equator?

Penguins do not live in the Arctic because polar bears would not allow it. Polar bears never reached the Antarctic, so penguins can live there. The Galapagos penguins can survive despite the tropical latitude because of the cool waters of the Humboldt and Cromwell Currents.
