Tomorrow is last day in Palm Springs before heading back to east coast for
the summer. My time here has wildly exceeded my expectations. Had a few “ interruptions” with unexpected trips due to 2 deaths in family and two new grandsons. But grand times with relatives and friends here. Improved golf prowess considerably but still a long way to go. Explored more of SoCal. Lots of working out and bike riding. Dropped some weight, etc. squeezing one more round of golf in in the am, then packing car and closing up house for early getaway Tuesday morning. Road trip to get wife’s car and doggies home! I’ll send a post card!

Just curious as to how many potty breaks the doggies need for that long a
haul. [Serious question though Don, no snark intended :-) ]. And safe travels back!!! ** Edited by PWR2LZ at 5/4/2026, 12:41:50 PM

Wifey’s Tesla assures of regular breaks for charging every few hours. Great
for doggies as well as the two of us! Most chargers are near a restaurant or mall or travel center. 40 lb labradoodle and 5 lb Morkie travel well and let us know if they need an unscheduled break.

Cool, thx. Can’t imagine having a dog that only weighs 5 lbs. Our current
pair of rescues are sisters, Husky mix, 60 lbs each. Our pair before that were 80 (Lab) & 120 (Mastiff/Lab mix). That pair had their own conversion van- lots of breaks for gas, etc w/those two, lol!
