No fun at the gym this morning.
My cheap Shokz knock-offs died, so no music for my morning workout. Thankfully I have a pair of actual Shokz headphones that I charged when I returned, and are ready to go. I paired them with my phone and it worked immediately. I'm set for my next trip to the gym!
The cheap ones lasted about a year, and I noticed they were taking an increasing amount of time to charge. I think they initially took <30 minutes, but that time had extended to over three hours before they failed.
The initial charge time for my Shokz was ~15 minutes.

...or earpods.
Unfortunately, my right ear has 60% hearing loss so they're CROS functional, i.e., what goes in my right ear crosses to my left ear. Seems to be mono for sound from my phone, i.e., music, TSL podcasts, etc.

...probably lasted 6-8 years. Awesome battery life. I thought it wasn't recharging because the recharge light stopped coming on, so I bought that cheap pair a few years ago as a replacement. The light started coming on with the original cheap pair so I used it another year or two before they finally died and I switched to the 2nd cheap pair (that just died).
I think Costco had these Shokz on sale about a year ago, so I picked them up then. I just broke them out of the box today.
