The New Virginians
Were a band founded by a group of Hokies in the early 70's. Found this in mom's belongings.

They performed in the Fredericksburg area at my daughter's high school & a
couple of them stayed at our house overnight. It was sometime around 1990.

Do you still have a record player? Have you listened to it? Is the record
Scratch free? I’m not a tech geek at all so I’m not sure if it’s even possible but I believe there’s a way to convert a record to a digital file & then store the file somehow maybe on YouTube so you can listen to it on your phone or iPad whenever you want. If it is possible it would great if you were willing to share the recording by posting a link here on TSL. Although, now that I’m thinking about it, there has to be a ton of marching Virginia music already on YouTube. The record is still cool to have as a keepsake. You could probably find someone willing to buy that record.

Tascam makes transferring analog to digital fairly easy.
I might be able to find a small studio or just an audiophile to be able to do this. If and when, I'll be happy to post a file here on TSL.

They performed in Suffolk a couple of times. They put on a good show.
