What are the real olive oils, and what are the fakes (by brand)?
If you don't want to watch the video, or want to jump around to the specific brands: Fake or really bad olive oil brands to avoid: - Berroli - Colvita - Capatriti - Safeway Select - Great Value (Walmart) - Good & Gather (Target) - Pompeian - Felippo Berio - Newman's Own - Mazola - Mezzetta - Rachael Ray Ones to buy: - California Olive Ranch - benchmark - Kirkland Select (2 varieties) - Cobram Estate - Australian olive oil. Australia has some of the strictest testing of olive oils, so you know it's authentic. - Certain Trader Joe's olive oils (and some should be avoided) A couple of their good ones are Greek Kalamata or Dipping California Estate. - Lucini - worldwide benchmark, but the most expensive. A few tips: Avoid olive oil in clear bottles. Look for dates of pressing (not just expiration dates) and single country of origin

We have a great place here in Queen Creek. It's acres of olive trees with a
processing plant and a restaurant that's always busy and has great food. It's called the Olive Mill, a favorite place in the area and only a mile from home. They also have tons of different olive oils. If you're ever out here, stop by, you won't be disappointed.

Hated all the ornamental olive trees in AZ
Good gravy what a dirty tree! Pollen that wouldn't quit and olives to step on and stain your floors, especially carpets. Our apartment complex in Tempe had them planted throughout the complex and a lot of people had them planted around the area.

Olives from California, cold pressed in California, bottled in CA...
They control the entire process from picking the olives to shipping the bottles.

I've been buying my olive oil there for years.
Always thought it was good quality, so it's nice to see that confirmed. Watched another video, and it said that in addition to a "best by" date of 3 years after the olives are picked, you should finish the bottle within 6 months after opening the bottle. My bottle was opened well before 6 months ago, so I'll pick up a new bottle on next week's Costco run.

That video advice sounds exactly like what Big Olive™ would say. TIC
