A 61yo man with a large, metallic chain? (?)
I'm going to avoid the obvious Public Enemy joke. But seriously, that's around my age, I haven't worn a chain for 40 years.

Now they are saying it was a weight training chain?
Do you wear those as you go about your day?

I found him

that'll be written into fargo 2, the sequel

This is so puzzling to me. I have metal inside me - and I tell them every
time I get an MRI - but I'm good to go. Is it because it is already inside the machine when they turn it on?

Usually replacement joints, etc are made of titanium or cobalt-chromium.
Titanium is not magnetic and cobalt-chromium alloys used to replace joints are typically designed to be non-ferromagnetic.

Hmmm. I don't have that, I have some kind of clamps in my gut. I thought it
was stainless steel. Maybe that isn't magnetic either.

Austenitics (3xx) series aren’t magnetic. Ferretics and martensitics are.

well that sucks.

Magnets got to magnet

No Clue
The magnets in those things are no joke.
Seems like this happens every now and then.

That had to be a heck of a chain to withstand breaking.
I'm guessing the guy got strangulated.

EDGEMAN
Have a feeling he's going to install a "breakable" link in his chain...lol
MP4VT2004 MP4VT2004
Probably not since he's dead now, unfortunately.

Yikes!
I haven't signed up for a membership to read their articles, thus I didn't know.

Hmm, neither have I, but it still opened for me. đŸ¤ˇâ€â™‚ī¸

I normally see the first paragraph, then everything else is blurred.
I deleted it as soon as I saw the website.
