That's always been the goal -- to get a Super Bowl in DC. They're not going to do a cold-weather Super Bowl in the elements, though. So they need a roof.

roof. He said something along the lines of there wasn't much point in spending the extra money since teams with those stadiums usually just leave the roof closed. And it wasn't worth it for 1 or 2 games a season. But that was sometime last year and opinions might have changed since then.
