A while back I mentioned how business software sales
has seemingly pivoted to the pharma model of the early 2010's, having very attractive young women doing cold calls. My job title makes it sound like I'm important (even though I'm basically a worker bee), and my name was once on a $20K business software purchase, so I get hounded by these calls all the time. Is this a thing in other industries?

As discussed here multiple times, Insight Global makes no bones about the fact that this is their sales strategy. I built an office for them in Richmond about 10 years ago, and their manager told me that's exactly what they do. Having been there doing punch list work when they moved in, I can confirm he was being truthful.

How can you tell their attractiveness from a phone call?

The actual phone calls I don't ever answer

Cold calls, yes. I get a dozen a day
between calls and emails, but I gotta say, none sound as attractive as your example.
