had them on my last house, how they attach is critical

you will still have to clean gutters once in a while, just not as often. Muck and debris will pass through and build up in the gutters. So, if, they are screwed in, you will be removing all the screws, cleaning replacing screws, rinse repeat, more work than just cleaning the gutters more often. If they snap in somehow, less of an issue.
