Not sure about bigger gloves or not. Shift ban - yes, if they can't hit it, you shouldn't be in the pros. Electronic ump - yes. The biggest change in baseball over the last 15 years is maximum effort in pitching. It's more about overpowering the batters on every pitch than it use to be. Pitching has gotten better in this area, but it's also why pitchers aren't lasting as long. If you are expected to throw 90+ on every pitch, where the 80's pitcher was pitching 80+ on every pitch, that changes how long your pitcher is going to last in a game. In the end, I doubt these will do much to change the number of baseball fans.
