A few things. Mid 70s when I played in the Roanoke Symphony we lodged at

The Ponce de Leon and played concerts in the old American Theater. After the coliseum was built we lodged at the Hotel Roanoke and played concerts at the new coliseum. Anyway I ate many a meal at the “ Boiler Room”! Great memories! ( Ditto Texas Tavern!) Also Garden and Gun is a gooderly magazine! I always enjoy!
