70 miles ish East of Buffalo, but at this point I consider it a fair trade

off. Yeah, it snows, but even with what is burying Buffalo right now, it snows a LOT less than it did when I was a kid. As compared to: 1. Super hot and muggy weather? Maybe 10 days of those a year. 2. Tornados? We had our 2nd "F1" tornado in 2022 over the past 25 years or so. And that's for a 5 county area. 3. Wildfires? Mudslides? Nope and Nope. 4. Earthquakes? Nope. 5. Rising Oceans? Too far inland to be threatened. 6. Hurricanes? They're 60 mph at the most by the time they get here. 7. Drought? Yeah, it happens, but we live in possibly the most fresh water rich area on earth. So strictly from a weather perspective, I'm good with the occasional snowy day. And it is fun to go sledding, build a snowman, etc. on occasion. And for those who like to ski or skate, that works too.
