Knowing absolutely nothing, I'd say a lot of applicants

and not a lot of spots available contribute to the number. Meaning, I wouldn't be surprised if the applicant numbers are a lot lower than Stanford's, but also that the program as a whole is so much smaller so there are only a few that get in.
