So, the VT Carilion School of Medicine has a 1.8% acceptance rate

4th lowest rate in nation. Only 3 schools more difficult to get into - one of which is Stanford. Can anyone lend context to how we got to this result? What are the dynamics that are making this the way it is? Pretty incredible...
