All the crypto fans loved it when the institutional
Enties said they were getting until crypto. Turns out they weren’t getting into it to own it. They were getting into it because they could push around the securities (especially the leveraged ones) and make money off the volatility trading.
Leveraging risky assets is a dangerous game. Leveraging risky assets with a fundamental value of zero is even worse.
Most of the crypto managers have resumes thinner than cheap napkins and the liquidity l resources to match. Choose your “partners” wisely.
And anyone who put money that shouldn’t be at risk in one of these promoted currencies or “stable” coins only has themselves to blame. If it sounds too good to be true then it usually is.
